Plans | Pippin, the Musical

Working at Harvard has many, many perks. One of my favorites is getting group discount tickets to musicals. In the past two years, I have seen Once, Phantom of the Opera, Book of Mormon, Kinky Boots, and Newsies at the Boston Opera House, all for less than $50 or so for a ticket. Sure, the tickets are in the balcony section, but I'm not complaining.

The one "downside" (if we can call it that) is that the tickets go on sale REALLY early, so you have to book pretty far in advance, but you know me--I love making plans and having things to look forward to.

Jon and I are going to see Pippin tomorrow night. I looked back through my emails and discovered I bought these tickets all the way back in August, so I've been looking forward to this for a long time. I'll post a picture from the Opera House after tomorrow!

After the show update:

Pippin was kind of odd, but the acrobatics were incredible and the take home message was a good one. Not my favorite musical, but a fun one to watch.
