Projects | Valentine's Day Cards

I can't believe it's already February--how did that happen? Seems like just yesterday was New Year's Eve. Anyway, I love February because it's a great time to share love and feel loved. Over the weekend, I decided to make a few Valentines for my girlfriends, (and Grandma). I came up with a pretty simple design and made 6 cards. I think they're pretty cute!

I ended up using two shades of pink card-stock for the card itself. These are 4" x 6". I cut hearts out of red card-stock, (and used silver sharpie to line them and write "love"), cut 1/2" x 6" strips of the gray card-stock, and cut 1 1/2" x 6" strips of the printed paper.

I finished them up with some hand-lettering (2 different fonts), and now I'm excited to send them off to loved ones!
