Plates | Banana Oatmeal Muffins

With this no desserts thing still going, (a New Year's Resolution to go 100 days sans desserts), I turn to alternative options to satisfy my sweet tooth. On Friday night, I made these banana oatmeal muffins. I have made these muffins before, and they're so easy and so tasty.

Ingredients
  • 3 very ripe bananas (the more ripe, the sweeter)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 3 cups of oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • mix-ins, I love chocolate chips, but I used walnuts and raisins this time.


Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375
  2. Mash the bananas pretty well, it will be fairly mushy
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well 
  4. Bake the muffins for ~10-15 minutes until golden brown.
