Project | Geometric Washi Tape Table

On a rare unplanned summer weekend, I was inspired to redecorate my apartment with a few fun DIY projects. First undertaking--a Pinterest inspired geometric washi tape table.

I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Here is the final result:

And here's the step by step progression. But first, here's what you need:

• Gold (or any other color) washi tape
• Tape measure or ruler
• Pencil to lightly mark the table where to add the tape

I first laid down the main cross across the top of the table. I placed the center slightly above the halfway point and slightly to the right. From there, I measured 1" away from each side and laid down the next stripes.

Here is one completed side. From there, I just kept adding the stripes, maintaining a consistent distance. Make sure to wrap the washi tape around the bottom of the table so it doesn't peel off. The tape may start to peel on top after a while, but you can easily replace a strip of the washi tape since you'll have extra! Very cute result and adds some interest to the space.
