Project | Boston Subway Map Art

I decided to create a gallery wall on one of my walls, and one piece I wanted to create was subway art. I found a thin piece of wood at the local hardware store months ago and thought it could be the perfect canvas for my piece of art.

It's a pretty simple project--pull up an image of the subway map you wish to copy. Without creating a total grid to get the right proportions, I found it helpful to find the middle of the subway system and place a dot on the wood. From there, I placed the end points and connected the lines. You can see my drawing below.

Once I finished the drawing, I put black sparkle washi tape around the edges to make it pop off the wall. Overall, very happy with it!
