Project | Paint Chip Artwork

I found a tea towel that I really liked and I wanted to create another canvas to complement it. I found paint chip artwork on Pinterest and set out to make my own. I took paint chips in 4 colors from the local hardware store. Each paint chip was a rectangle, and I cut two triangles off of the bottom. Each triangle included one big triangle in one color, and two smaller tail triangles in a different color. I mixed and matched and varied between 2-4 of the chevrons. I worked on one row at a time, and this is what it looked like. I used spray adhesive and it was definitely a sticky project.


As you can see, in the picture below, the paint chips ran over the side. You could leave it like this, but I like the trimmed final product, seen below.
