Plates | Pork Chops with Indian Spices

For Valentine's Day, my mom sent me the cutest care package--a package of small bags of spices. One of the best grocery stores in California, Sprouts, sells spices by the ounce, so I think she just picked up some of the rarer spices for me and sent them bundled with love. I decided to try out one of the recipes she sent to accompany the spices--Pork Chops with Indian Spices.

Ingredients
4 Pork Chops
Yogurt Sauce
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt (Greek is fine)
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Crack of Sea Salt (or regular salt)
Vegetable
Rice

Directions
1. Throw the pork chops in a pan to brown on both sides. I cooked the pork chops most of the way through before adding the yogurt sauce.
2. Combine all of the ingredients for the yogurt sauce. Evenly distribute on the pork chops once they are 80-90% cooked through.
3. Prepare vegetable and rice for the meal.
4. Voila--a tasty meal!
