Plates | St. Patty's Day Shepherd's Pie

For St. Patty's Day yesterday, I decided to get in the spirit and make a Shepherd's Pie. You can get fancy and complex with this dish, but I prefer to keep it simple. REALLY simple.

Ingredients:
1-2 pounds of ground beef
1 yellow onion
1 bag of frozen carrots/peas (corn is fine, too)
Instant mashed potatoes

Directions
  1. Brown the ground beef, drain some of the liquid, this the first layer. I add some garlic powder and some salt to this layer. 
  2. Dice the onion and saute, add the frozen carrots/peas to thaw them. This is layer 2. 
  3. Make the instant mashed potatoes, this is the layer 3. 
  4. Bake at 375 for about 30 minutes. 

So easy, so delicious!
