Plates | Kung Pao Chicken Tacos

These tacos were amazingly delicious! I will definitely be making these again.

The chicken
You can marinate the chicken in soy sauce if you have time. Cut up the chicken in small pieces and coat in corn starch and cook in a pan until cooked through.

The sauce
1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp honey
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp chili paste

Combine the ingredients and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes until slightly thick. Stir in 1 garlic clove, minced. Add the sauce to the chicken in the pan, add in 3 tbsp coarsely chopped peanuts or cashews and stir around.

The tacos
8 corn tortillas
1/3 cup sliced green onions
Sliced red bell pepper
Lime wedges
Sliced avocado

Assemble the tacos with the coated chicken, green onions, bell pepper and avocado. Top with lime!
